Oxalis and Onion Weed
Weeds flourish in the heat of summer. Oxalis and Onion Weed in particular are difficult to control, especially in full flower gardens.

Control: Hand weeding is not recommended with these weeds as it spreads the bulblets. With a small brush, carefully paint a glyphosate herbicide such as Roundup, Zero or Erase, to the weed in question. Remember this is a total weedkiller and will kill whatever it touches. The chemical will be absorbed into the plant and translocated to the root to kill it. Glyphosate, is not residual in the soil. If you are using a sprayer for application, make sure you label it and never ever use it for any other purpose. Traces of glyphosate remaining after washing can contaminate your sprayer and kill your plants.
