Orange Flowering Gum (dwarf)

Description: The dwarf orange flowering gum grows to just 3m (9ft). Slow growing it can take 8 years to reach its final height. Named cultivars include Orange Spendour, Brilliant Orange and Dwarf Orange (Corymbia ficifolia “Dwarf Orange”). This is a true dwarf, growing smaller than the Summer Range of flowering gums.

Position: It is best planted where it gets full sun or near to it, and makes an ideal focus plant for a garden.

Flowers: Amass of almost fluorescent orange coloured flowers, anytime between December and April.

Size: Maximum height of 3m and width of 2-3m

Pots: This is small enough to be suitable for tub planting or growing on patios.

Special Comments: Lightly trim after flowering and feed with a specialised native plant food.
