Name: Prostrate Cootamundra Wattle (Acacia baileyana 'Prostrata')
Size: 4m wide and 0.6m high
Description: This ground hugging form of the popular cootamundra wattle grows to 60cm and spreads up to 4m. The fern-like blue-green foliage makes a magnificent display especially in winter when the fluffy yellow flowers. Grow it as a stunning specimen plant or in a large tub.
Position: Give it full sunshine and good drainage. In heavy soils plant it up on a mound.Tolerates coastal salt conditions and extreme temperatures.
Care: Prune hard after flowering. Extremely drought tolerant once established.
