I have 2 of these "cyprus" pines adjacent to the west facing wall of the house and both have patches of dead or dying leaves and branches against the brickwork. Both were planted about 3 yrs ago and appear very healthy except for these patches.The only explanation for the dying/dead parts of the trees is that I sprayed part of the wall with a spray to deter or kill cockroaches from entering the house. Has anyone had a similar experience or could confirm that the spray is the most likely culprit? Will the trees die?
