The Sydney volunteer guides have been conducting walks for the Friends of the Gardens and the general public in the Royal Botanic Gardens for 22 years. Over this time, the volunteer guide contingent has grown from a small group of dedicated volunteers conducting the occasional guided walk to a group of over 90 conducting regular walks. They also organise exhibitions, inform the public on the Wollemi Pine and the Grey-headed Flying Fox and answer the weird and wonderful questions our visitors ask...
