Garden Life to Launch New Sydney Store & Café

Garden Life launched its newly refurbished Cleveland Street store and café on Thursday, 25 November. The flagship Sydney store will not only feature the full Garden Life outdoor product range but also offer clients a unique dining experience surrounded by lush planting, unique products and amazing artwork.

According to Garden Life Principal Richard Unsworth, combining a retail store and cafe is something he has been dreaming of for a long time, “I’m passionate about plants and outdoor living, so for me the cafe feels very much like a natural progression. What I love most is to share food with friends in my garden at home – the Garden Life cafe is an extension of this philosophy.”

The cafe, called Twig, is collaboration between Richard Unsworth and long-time friend and talented chef Richard Francis and his wife Lorraine. With a focus on sustainable and locally sourced produce, the menu is centered on clean, fresh flavors. From a quick snack, sandwich, or full blown entrée, main and desert - the café has a broad range of tasty treats on offer.

Garden Life was founded in 2001 and quickly developed a cult following amongst landscapers and garden designers for the ability to source unique outdoor solutions.  It has also attracted the attention of a who’s who of Sydneysiders looking to have their gardens designed.  With the addition of the cafe, the business will become a comprehensive destination for foodies, green thumbs and design hunters looking for nourishment and inspiration.   

Due to significant growth in both the retail store and design arms of the business, Garden Life will shortly launch an online store, www.gardenlife.com.au, selling a range of outdoor products across Australia including:
