New website will help put you find fresh local produce!
Local Harvest, a new initiative from the Ethical Consumer Group aims to help people find local sources of food and grow their own. http://www.localharvest.org.au/which launched its Beta version this week is essentially a national directory of local food sources, by simply entering your postcode local harvest provides a list of local sources including food co-ops, swap meets, community gardens, farmers markets, box systems, organic retailers and more. In addition the new website also provides alternatives for food production and resources fro growing and making your own.
