Ross Family Garden Party

We would love to invite you to the Ross Family Garden Party which is being held on the lawns of the Rose Garden on the evening of Friday 18^th November.

Hosted by Graham Ross and Professor David Mabberley this event is the Foundation’s first fundraising event for the Bicentenary Campaign and we are hoping to raise over $50,000 for PlantBank.

This is an opportunity to meet Graham Ross whom you may have heard on radio and seen on television.  Graham and his family run the famous Garden Clinic. You will also be able to learn more about PlantBank, the ultimate insurance policy for Australia’s plant species, and understand the international importance of the research, conservation and learning that will happen in this world class facility. 

PlantBank is costing almost $20 million to build.  The NSW State Government kicked off the project with a $15.5 million commitment.  $1.7 million has been raised from philanthropic foundations and corporate support.  However, with the construction of PlantBank starting in early January time is ticking and we need to raise the shortfall - $2.5 million.

So don’t miss this unique evening of hospitality and entertainment in the Rose Garden including an auction of ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.  By coming, you will contribute to PlantBank.
