'Forrest Pansy'

Description

Large heart shaped leaves which are a beautiful shade of reddish-purple i spring, eventually the colour changes to purple-black and then purple green in Summer. The leaves change again in autumn, to shades of brilliant yellow and orange. There is even another pleasant suprise in spring, when masses of small pink pea-like flowers appear along the branches. This tree grows to around 5 metres tall.

Care

The Forrest Pansy prefers a deep, well drained, fertil soil. Full sun is ideal for best foliage colour, but avoid extremely hot positions or sites which are exposed to a lot of wind.

Uses

Excellent tree for adding colour year round to the garden or landscape, great size which is perfect for small areas.
