Primula Few plants light up the winter garden floor better than the beautiful Primula. Primula malacoides come in various shades of deep pink through to a crystal-clear white that can be used to light up a shaded position in the cool of winter.
Care Primula prefer a semi-shaded position to full sun in moist, humus rich soils. They are ideally mass planted to give maximum effect in the landscape. Primula are very easy to grow in the winter garden and will reward you well through into spring.
Uses Primula are ideal for pots and hangers, but have greatest effect in bold mass plantings.
