Pyrus Calleryana 'Bradford' 'Bradford' is a beautiful cultivar of the ornamental pear (Pyrus Calleryana). It features dark green, glossy, rounded leaves which produce beautiful autumn colour in shades of red, orange, yellow and dark purple. In spring an abundance of white flowers burst into life attracting countless bees. 'Bradford' grows to around 12m in height and 9m in width.
Care Performs best in full sun, but is tolerant of a wide range of soils and fairly dry conditions. It does need protection from strong wind and regular pruning to maintain a good structure.
Uses Great for urban areas with restricted growing space for roots. 'Bradford' makes an excellent street tree and an equally as impressive specimen in the garden.
