Pansy Plentifall (Viola x wittrockiana)
Trailing pansies cascade over urns, hanging baskets and window boxes. Their profuse flowering habit allows them to recover quickly after rain so the display lasts for months at a time. Cooler winter weather produces larger blooms, deeper colours and more prominent petal markings. Seedlings will flower exactly seven weeks after planting, allowing you to tie your show. Deadhead finished flowers to prolong flowering. Feed with a liquid fertiliser to increase number of flowers. ‘Trailing Violet Wing’ is pictured and is available under the Floriana label at Bunnings stores.
