Spirit of the Garden

This book, commissioned by The National Library of Australia, and beautifully written by Trisha Dixon, will really set you thinking; reimagining the spaces where you live. Through her creative narrative and awe-inspiring photography, Trisha beautifully explores our “sense of place”.

Sandra Ross’ key takeaway from the book is that we tend to “over-garden” our spaces. “When nature herself does such a magnificent job, why do we rush to “enhance” her?” Trisha encourages us to seek and respect the essence of a place. A book to treasure!
