Bonsai, the ancient Japanese art of cultivating miniature trees goes beyond horticulture; it's an expression of patience, precision and creativity. Embark on a journey into the enchanting world of bonsai with our hosts Alex and Megumi Bennett as they demonstrate the art of bonsai. In this class, you will learn the essential techniques to transform ordinary trees into living works of art. Alex will impart his knowledge on the ideal species for your bonsai project and demonstrate pruning, wiring and shaping techniques, the best soil composition and the potting and tool essentials for maintaining the health of a bonsai.
For anyone looking to develop a meditative and creative hobby, then this class is for you!

Garden Clinic Classes & Workshops

All Classes are 11.00am – 1.00pm unless otherwise stated.

Attending for the first time? :

• There is no onsite parking at The Garden Clinic Clubhouse

• There is limited street parking on Beecroft Rd outside the Clubhouse or park in Beecroft Place shops in Hannah St for a short walk to the Clubhouse. Beecroft train station is a 5 minute walk to the Clubhouse.

• This class is held indoors

• Bring a pen and paper, come a little earlier, get a good seat

• Morning tea is provided unless otherwise stated. Please advise any special dietary requirements by calling us
