Potted: Succulents

Photo - Linda Ross

Summer pots dry out in a flash and in some situations the only dependable potted colour will be succulents. Two of our favourites are copper pinwheel (Aeonium 'Sunburst') and blue chalksticks (Senecio mandraliscae). Both have amazing colour and shape. They need succulent/cactus mix and a hot spot. A bonus - both grow easily from cuttings, so all you need is a friend with a good collection. Allow the cutting to callous before planting.
