Flaming good





Last summer was an excellent year for the trifecta of flowering trees including the silky oak (Grevillea robusta), jacaranda and the Illawarra flame tree (Brachychiton acerifolius). We saw many in the suburbs and also during our sojourn around Sydney Harbour on our Jacaranda Cruises.



This stunning example was sent in by Garden Clinic Club member, Liz C.



Thanks Liz, it’s rare to see a whole tree in flower, often it is half the tree or just a branch.
