Summer 2020 Issue
Welcome to the Summer edition of your journal.
After a dry year, with only sporadic rain for some, we are now entering uncharted territory for all gardeners. The National Meteorological Weather Bureau is forecasting unprecedented drought, cyclonic winds, wild rain events and extreme heat over the coming months.
It will mean using all the support services we provide in your membership to get your garden through these trying times. The Helpline is available seven
days a week, 10am -2pm ESST. Reach us at Garden Clinic radio on 2GB every Saturday and Sunday, 6-8am ESST on 131 873 or listen back to those programs
as podcasts, available on 2gb.com.Find Linda’s
Garden Clinic podcasts on the Podcast tab, or your favourite Podcast app. And
book your members-go-free Garden Clinic class or workshop on the Events page
Meanwhile, our journal is once again packed full of gardening news, tips and inspirations. We love ranging wide to introduce you to people who are mad for plants and gardens. In this issue you’ll meet a nurseryman whose frustration at not being able to find interesting plants for his apartment inspired a massive new product line and some out-there plant-hunting; one of our local rose experts; and two friends living their dream by growing cut flowers in an old walled garden.
Don’t forget that by supporting our Garden Clinic partner network of nurseries and garden centres you’ll receive a 10% discount on plants as indicated.
